The moon has gone to bed
the stars have left the sky
I look at you and smile a lot
you always wonder why.
It is because my night,
is brighter made by you
and in the morning you are there
you are my sunshine too.
While each new day begins
with you wide eyed and yawning
I look at you and smile
but simply say "good morning."
